Your relationship is an investment. I know you might be on a tight budget. I know you have bills to pay. I know being an adult is EXPENSIVE. This is a non negotiable. It doesn’t have to be a trip across the country. It can be a phoneless free or inexpensive date night. It can be a staycation in the next town over. Or it can be going somewhere new together. Find what fits into your budget — but make it fit into your budget. You invest in your health. You invest in your retirement. You might invest in GameStop, but you HAVE TO INVEST IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP. Trust me. From someone whose relationship was basically nonexistent & was married to their roommate — if you don’t invest in your relationship, you won’t have one. Josh said so many times on our trip how thankful he is that we did it. He’s the penny pincher in our relationship, but we will for sure be doing this again. We are now taking marriage retreat 2022 suggestions 🤘🏼
