What a bright week we had this week!! (& I'm not just talking about the sunshine!).
This week we took advantage of some fun "social distancing" activities nearby our homes and went to a couple U-Pick farms! We picked blueberries at one and peaches at the other and both are absolutely delicious.
It felt good to support some local businesses and get out of the house for a bit. {Barb} turned a pile of the blueberries into super tasty jam bars (the recipe is in a previous email and you can also find the recipe on our blog!) and the peaches are currently being devoured just as they are but we are considering other ways to show them off in baked forms. What's your favorite way to use peaches?
Business was GOOD this week and we have YOU to thank for that! We kept busy working on orders and introducing a couple new items that you seemed to really like! We are also kicking it into gear over here because we are about a month out from the three day vintage market in MAY. We've got quite a list of items to pull together so we are working toward increasing our inventory every day.
We celebrated Easter in our own homes this year and although we did do our traditional egg dying night the night before, Easter morning felt a little different than normal. In times like these, it is encouraging us to remember that Jesus is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY, and FOREVER (Hebrews 13:8). Nothing takes Him by surprise and no matter the state of the world, He continues to renew and redeem all things. He is our living HOPE!
We pray you had a day that refreshed your spirit for the months ahead. If you would like us to pray for something specific for you please hit reply and let us know. We would consider it an honor and privilege to do so.
XOXO,
MArc & Barb
