September = Fall + Football

A FUN FACT ABOUT MARC & BARB: We are plant lovers & are working on our green thumbs. Our grandma is the QUEEN of green & is our go to for all things plant related. If you are like us & have a house full of plants, you will LOVE our freebie this month.

We love to use these to keep all the information about our plants in one place, and they serve as a reminder on when we should be watering our plants so that they stay alive & happy. SEPTEMBER THOUGHTS: Florida isn't much for fall, but since we both went to college in Virginia, we've had our fair share of fall festivities and can say with confidence that some of our favorite memories were made in the cooler months. You'd likely find Barb wandering apple orchards during the local "you pick" season, and Marc would be right by her side eating all the cider donuts. Fall is the perfect time to try out some new recipes & remake old favorites like homemade applesauce, pumpkin pie and lentil stew. Since we don't get much fall weather down here, reminiscing on our time in VA and all the fall{ish} activities will have to be how we celebrate the season these days. We will also be sporting our fall bags & scrunchies to let everyone know how much we wish the weather would get a little cooler & that a few leaves would change colors, just this once. 

Fall Means Football. We loved spending Saturday tailgating & cheering on the Liberty Flames in college. When Marc got married, her husband coached football & Marc was the cheer coach at her high school alma mater. All that to say, we love us some football! Since September is the kick off of football season, we wanted to supply you with some new game day scrunchies & canvas bags to take along while cheering on your favorite team. Be on the lookout for team-inspired scrunchies on the shop this month & we've got new colors for bags and vinyl coming soon too!
