Christmas @ The Regnaert's

Y'all! The best part of being business partners & sisters is that we get to celebrate all of the big life events & holidays together.

This year, we just wanted to a share a little snapshot into our holiday season, because we feel a little bit like you are family. You support us & cheer us on & we love that you follow along on our little journey.

Barb got married in 2015 & Marc got married in 2016, then in 2018 our brother got engaged, so we started switching up Christmas a little bit around that time. We went from buying gifts for EVERYONE in the family, to drawing names & getting a "secret sib". We still all go in together for our parents, but we only buy one gift for one of the siblings in the family. As we get older, we realized that it isn't so much about the presents that we buy as much as it being a chance for all of us to spend time together. As working & married adults, we don't really "need" much, so this gives us a way to still shop and bless a sibling, while still keeping it reasonable & focused on our time together.

With Barb's husband being a first year resident, he has to work on Christmas. They've been out of town the last few years, so we have celebrated as a family whenever we have a chance to have them with us - after all, Christmas is just a day, no matter when you celebrate it. The most important part is that we're all together, sharing a meal & laughs & making memories.
